Fall Court of Honor

There were a lot of rank advancements and badges earned in the last 6 months. Some of the boys showed up to the court of honor. Some didn't. I guess it is what they achieved and not so much the fancy thread. Good work boys!

Whiting Campground freeze fest

Hey we hit the last of the season camping trip in a great new spot right in our backyard. Whiting Camp Ground in Mapleton.

Summer Camp and lots lots more

Sorry it has been a while since we posted here. A lot has been going on with the scouts.

We had a great summer camp up at the High Uinta Wilderness camp.

Maple Canyon, Box Canyon, Call it what you will this place is cool

The scouts had a great time at their June camp out in Maple Canyon by Fountain Green Utah. We drover up there early to get a good spot but the fact that this is a world renowned rock climbing destination all of the close spots were taken. We kept driving up the rougher and narrower road and found a primitive camp site a mile or so above the forest service sites.

 Chris, Wade and Nick up on the ridge above our camp site. It was a about a 15 minute scramble to get up to this ridge. It was pretty windy up here and we saw a bunch of vultures circling above us but none of us died so I guess they were disappointed.
